5 steps to designing and managing a website
1. Tell Your Story – I’ll send you a questionnaire about your small business, the products and services you’re selling, and who you’re selling them to. I’ll use your answers to draft the copy for your website.
2. Sell Your Brand – If you already have your logo, brand voice, colours and fonts picked out, I’ll implement them on your website. If not, you can add a branding kit to your web design package for $500 + tax. I’ll design 3 options for you based on your products/services and target market. You choose the best fit for your small business.
3. Catch their eye – The saying goes “people eat with their eyes first” – and that applies to websites as much as it does for food. I can teach you how to find photos that enhance your brand, or you can let me find the right photos for you. Both options are available for all packages.
4. Edit Your Content – The Editor package offers training for basic content edits, like business hours and sales banners. The Manager package will teach you advanced training for your WordPress website, from editing copy and photos to maintaining your WCAG and SEO.
5. Manage Your Website – If you buy The Manager package, I’ll teach you how to manage your website from top to bottom, including: sales and scheduling integrations, professional email account, plugins, domain hosting, security features, and setting up auto-payment of all recurring fees so that your website runs smoothly for as long as you own your small business.
