Here’s the story behind StoryBoard Designs…

Hi! I’m Renee – the web designer behind StoryBoard Designs. I create custom WordPress websites, build memorable brands, manage site updates, and teach business owners how to confidently run their own online spaces.

I’ve always had a deep love for anything creative (if it involves design, colour, or big ideas, I’m in!). After many, many years as an admin guru, I sharpened my skills in sales, marketing, and design – and eventually realized I had everything I needed to launch my own web design business.

When 2020 sent most of us home to work remotely, I discovered that I thrive working from home. With extra energy at the end of each day, I poured myself into a “little” pet project – my travel blog. Within a year, that creative spark turned into three new client projects for small businesses who needed beautiful, strategic websites of their own.

Now? I get to live my dream every day. I partner with passionate entrepreneurs, build websites that truly represent their businesses, and help them grow their online presence so they can reach more people and expand their impact.

3 easy steps for hiring StoryBoard Designs

1. Book a free consultation – Let’s take 30 minutes to discuss your small business website needs. Then, let’s work together to determine how much (or how little) you want to be involved in the design and management of your new website.

2. Negotiate a payment plan – Let’s decide on a payment plan that works for both of us. I’ll draft a service agreement and send it to you for review.

3. Hire StoryBoard Designs – You send back a signed copy of the agreement with a $1,000 deposit and I’ll get started on your website. Your deposit will be applied to the final balance of your payment plan.
